SS 304L Seamless Pipe, SS 304L Welded Pipe, ASTM A312 TP304L Round Pipe, UNS S30403 Hollow Pipe, WNR 1.4307 Polished Pipe Supplier in India.
Stainless Steel Pipe 304L is the low carbon version of the widely used 304 austenitic stainless steel grade. The reduced carbon content (0.035% max) minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, making it the preferred material for applications where post-weld annealing is not practical. SS 304L Pipe offers excellent machinability, is a good welding material with or without filler metals, and resists corrosion across a wide range of environments.
The 304L Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe is available in NPS 1/8" through 12" in schedules 5, 10, 40, 80, 160, and XXH. Welded 304L pipes are available in NPS 1/8" through 24" in schedules 5, 10, 10S, 20, 30, 40, 40S, 80, and 80S. All stainless steel pipe 304L products meet ASTM A312 and ASME SA312 specifications and are widely used in chemical processing, food and beverage, cryogenic, architectural, and machinery applications.
The ASTM A312 TP304L Pipe has a minimum tensile strength of 485 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 170 MPa with 35% minimum elongation. Reliable Pipes & Tubes supplies stainless steel pipe 304L in round, square, rectangular, hydraulic, and coiled forms. Our pipes are available in annealed and pickled, bright annealed, cold drawn, and polished conditions to match any project specification.

Stainless Steel Pipe 304L is the low carbon variant of grade 304 austenitic stainless steel. With a maximum carbon content of 0.035%, it resists carbide precipitation during welding and is ideal for fabricated assemblies that cannot be post-weld annealed.
SS 304L has a lower carbon content (0.035% max) compared to SS 304 (0.08% max). This makes 304L more suitable for welded applications as it minimizes intergranular corrosion risk. The trade-off is a slightly lower yield strength — 170 MPa for 304L vs 205 MPa for 304.
SS 304L has the UNS designation S30403 and Werkstoff Nr. designation 1.4307 (DIN/EN equivalent: X2CrNi18-9). It is equivalent to SUS 304L in JIS standards.
Stainless steel pipe 304L seamless is available from NPS 1/8" to 12" in schedules 5, 10, 40, 80, 160, and XXH. Welded 304L pipe is available from NPS 1/8" to 24" in schedules 5, 10, 10S, 20, 30, 40, 40S, 80, and 80S as per ASTM A312 / ASME SA312.
